Hello, I’m Lynne.

A Welsh artist, illustrator, creative soul and art practitioner living in leafy Buckinghamshire. I make colourful, expressive work inspired by nature, memory, wild women, and the small, everyday magic that surrounds us.

For as long as I can remember, creativity has been my lifeline. But for years, a piece of my own story was missing.

A Map Back to Myself

For much of my life, I couldn't understand why I worked the way I did.

Why I flitted between projects. Why some days brought ten paintings in a row, and others I could barely start one. Why organisation felt like wading through treacle, while ideas came in floods.

The answer, when it came later in life, was a single diagnosis: ADHD.

Suddenly, the way I experience the world—with intense emotion, hyper-focus, distraction, and deep intuition—wasn't a flaw. It was a clue. It was the window into my creative process and a map back to myself.

Art with Heart, Colour & Soul

My neurodiversity is a lens, and it’s how I create art that is joyful, magical, and full of emotion. Using a mix of watercolour, acrylic, and ink, I explore recurring themes close to my heart: wildflowers, stars, witches, moons, and the rich Celtic mythology I grew up with.

I love to create art that connects. That feels like a breath of fresh air, a spell, or a soft place to land.

Whether it's a vibrant festival girl, or a quiet figure under the winter stars, each piece is infused with care, colour, and curiosity, ready to bring its own story into your home.

Growing up as an undiagnosed woman with ADHD, I learned early to mask and overcompensate. Inside, I often felt scattered, overwhelmed, and misunderstood. Art gave me a language when words failed and a rhythm when my mind raced.

Since my diagnosis, I’ve connected with so many others who’ve felt "too much" or "not enough"—especially creative women who’ve spent years wondering why life felt harder than it should.

This is why I'm so passionate about making art that welcomes everyone in. Art that says:

The Professional Bits

I hold a Fine Art (BA Hons) degree from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth and an MA in Contemporary Art from Oxford Brookes University.
My work has appeared in galleries, fundraisers, zines, and home collections across the UK, Europe, India, Australia, and the USA.
Through my studio, Boo Creative, I also support other creatives and small businesses with digital content and website design.
When I'm not creating, I’m a mother, grandmother, and lover of wild walks, books, soul music, and beautiful stationery.
